about RITA

Rita's Pet Care provides services for your pets and farm animals in the Bucks County area of Pennsylvania and into New Jersey.

Services include dog walking, potty breaks, manners training, overnights, and much more!

Rita has been raising dogs for 30 years, has been heavily involved in rescuing feral cats. She volunteered for years with AARK Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, a wildlife rehabilitation center for orphaned and injured animals. She is adept at giving insulin shots when needed, and knows CPR. Her passion has always been for animals.

Rita cares for my 8-month old puppy each day as I work. She is exceptional, professional, very knowledgeable, and takes great care of my dog (who thinks she is Auntie Rita Amazing Woman). I agree. I trust my dog and my home to her.

potty break

Dogs love to walk, but it is important to give them potty breaks, as well!
Not being able to relieve themselves for 10-12 hours is not healthy and can lead to bladder and kidney problems. A mid-day potty break can help relieve your loving pets and save your rugs!

$20-30

pet taxi

We provide an animal limousine service for busy or non-driving pet parents. We will take animals to the veterinarian, the groomers, to Aunt Sarah’s or wherever they need to go. (Cats will not be transported without a cat carrier which we can provide.) Very reasonable rates depending on distance.

walking

Modern day dogs don't get opportunities to do what their breed instincts tell them to do. In addition, it's a rare dog that exercises on his own, and your backyard doesn't provide the variety of sensory stimulation most dogs need to ward off boredom.  Dogs need walks for both exercise and mental stimulation.
